Munich has an huge park called the Englischer Garten which is designed on the types of wild parklands popular in 18th century England.
It's is one of the largest city parks in the world and had the River Isar running through it. And a German park would not be complete without a few beer gardens thrown in the mix.
People were out sunbaking when i was there and apparently you can swim in the river but the water was freezing.
